He studied at the chapel Tarragona's Cathedral under Joan C. Ripollès. He was appointed kapellmeister of the collegiate church of Tremp (1723-1739) and later of Sant Esteve d'Olot (1739-1775). His compositional production includes circa 50 liturgical and sacred music following Iberian models of the late Baroque.
