    • The Robert Gerhard Centre has as its mission to promote and disseminate the Catalan Musical Heritage. It is a public service that aims to raise awareness of and appreciation for this heritage, and make it accessible to all social agents. The centre was created in 2008 by the Department of Culture of the Generalitat of Catalonia and is based in L'Auditori building in Barcelona. It was named after one of the most important Catalan composers of the 20th century, Robert Gerhard Ottenwaelder (Valls, 1896 - Cambridge, 1970).
