Biography

Composer, pianist and music critic 

He was pupil of Josep Maria d'Arteaga and Carles G. Vidiella at the Liceu Conservatory and later studied organ with Primitivo Pardàs. He excelled as a pianist and organist at the cathedral of Barcelona. He was a musical critic for La Renaixença, La Vanguardia and the Il·lustració catalana. His output includes piano and chamber music, and glosses of folk songs for the orchestra.
