Amorós studied organ and composition under Salvador Giner at the Conservatory of Valencia.  He founded the journal Biblioteca Musical Valenciana and was director of the Conservatory of Valencia between 1919 and 1924. Furthermore, he published multiple pedagogical books and composed sacred music and zarzuela.
