Despite the scarce biographical information, there is evidence in 1618 he was the Kepellmeister of Santa Maria del Mar a position he possibly until his death. Nevertheless, in 1669, he seems to have asked to be replaced by Miquel Rosquelles.

His surviving works denote an Italian influence and the use of basso continuo. Furthermore, the motets are written in the Venetian polychoral style, which suggests that it could have studied under Joan Pau Pujol.
