Composer and Performer

Performer and composer

He began his musical training with his father and learned to play the fiscorn, double bass and piano. He later furthered his studies with Joan Carreras i Dagàs. He joined the Lleida military band and began composing. He played the Fiscorn in Cobla Montgrins. He was a teacher of Vicenç Bou and Martirià Font, among others.

His output includes a large number of ballables and about sixty sardanas.
