Composer and Musicologist

Ethnomusicologist and composer

He studied at the Conservatori de Barcelona and later at the Sorbonne University in Paris. He was professor at the aforementioned conservatory, member of the International Society of Musicology and the Societat Catalana de Musicologia. One of Crivillé's most important projects was the foundation of the Fonoteca de Música Tradicional linked to the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

He composed music for piano, orchestra, choir and chamber music.
