    History:

    Built by the architect Rafael Moneo, this building located around the Plaça de Glòries was inaugurated on March 22, 1999 with the presence of the Kings of Spain. Headquarters of the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and the National Orchestra of Catalonia, it also houses the Music Museum and the ESMUC. Throughout its history, its directors have been Joan Ollé, Oriol Pérez i Treviño, Joaquim Garrigosa and, currently, Robert Brufau.
