Lluís

Conductor and musicologist 

He was a pupil of Joan Massià and Cristòfor Taltabull, and later studied choir and orchestral conducting in Munich and Salzburg. In 1958 he founded the Chamber Orchestra Lluís Millet. He was the director of the Orfeó Català between 1977 and 1981, and from 1984, he promoted the Revista Musical Catalana and was its director until 2011. He devoted himself to the popularization of musical knowledge writing numerous articles and concert programmes.
