Biography

Instrument Maker

He became an organ maker in 1688 after learning the craft from the trinitarian Bartomeu Triay. In collaboration with Triay, he worked in the monastic organs such as that of Sant Domènec (Girona, 1681) and the organs of Sant Pere de Galligants (1682). Later on and on his own, he also worked in the construction of the organ of Sant Vicenç de Besalú (1688), Cadaqués (1689), Castelló d'Empúries (1686-1688), an organ of the cathedral of Barcelona (1686) and the major organ of Montblanc (1703). He also worked at the monastery of Montserrat in 1732.
