Soprano, pedagogue and composer
In 1911 she joined the Orfeó Catalunya as a soloist and, between 1912 and 1917, she studied at the Escola Municipal de Música de Barcelona under Alfons San José, Elisa Vázquez and Antònia Sancristòfol. She continued her studies at the Conservatori del Liceu under Joaquim Vidal i Nunell and Carme Amat. In 1924 she founded the Foment de l’Art Líric, an institution with the aim of promoting young singers which programmed her concerts.
From 1924 to 1937 she worked as a Lied singer in Barcelona, Madrid (1930) and later focused on teaching. In 1944 he reappeared in a concert in Barcelona.
