Biography

Composer

She was born into a Catalan and Spanish noble family and studied piano and organ. She was part of the choir of the Institut de Cultura de la Dona led by Francesca Bonnemaison. She furthered her studies in Paris and composed some works for private religious services. She composed music for poems by Jacint Verdaguer. Among her output, her Stabat Mater (1917) and a Te Deum (1918) stand out. In addition, she developed an important charity work.
