Biography

Musician and singer of children's songs

He trained as a pedagogue and schoolteacher. He had contact with the Scout movement through the Agrupament Sant Benet de Sarrià and sang in Coral Sant Jordi. All these elements laid the foundations for his later work. A scholarship allowed him to move to the United States, together with his brother Joan and Eduard Estivill. There, he came into contact with the hippy movement and folk music.

On his return to Catalonia, he promoted Grup de Folk (1966) and Ara va de bo (1971). He became an indisputable reference in the world of children's song in Catalonia and advocate of the dissemination not only of songs, but also stories and legends.
