History:
Choral organization created in 1904 by Antoni Costa Avellaneda and Josep Planas i Argemí, who was its conductor until 1948. Considered one of the oldest choirs in Catalonia, its milestones include the premiere of La Balanguera d ' Amadeu Vives at the Teatre Líric de Mallorca, in 1926. Today, the organization is still active and has a children's choir and a youth choir. Throughout its history, it has been conducted by personalities such as Edmon and Jordi Colomer and Llorenç Castelló, among others.
