History:
Cultural institution founded in 1893 by a group of artists from different disciplines. In its long history, the institution has been decisive in stimulating the city's cultural life. As an interdisciplinary institution, music was present with the celebration of concerts of music by Valencian composers and performers, such as Eduard López-Chávarri. The members of the Cercle agreed on its dissolution in May 2019.
