Teacher, organist and composer

He began his musical studies in his hometown and later joined the Milícia Nacional of Barcelona as Músic Major. He was director of an Italian opera company with which he toured France and Algeria. He was singing teacher and organist in the churches of Toulon and Marseille. Years later he moved to Italy where he was director of a theater in Pavia, before returning to Spain. His output includes mainly religious music, among which a Stabat Mater stands out.
