Violinist, pedagogue, pianist and composer

He was the son of the virtuoso violinist Rafael Gálvez Rubio. He moved to Barcelona where he was member of multiple music ensembles, including the Crickboom Quartet and the Pellicer Quartet, and the Orquestra Pau Casals. He was also violin teacher at the Escola Municipal de Música de Barcelona. He composed light music and sardanes.
