Biography
Composer and cellist
He began his musical education with his father and continued at the Municipal Music School of Barcelona with Ll. Millet, J. Soler and Nicolau. Between 1911 and 1921, he was cellist of the Renaissance Quartet (together with Toldrà, Recasens and Sànchez) with which he travelled to several European capitals. From 1921 onwards, he developed his task as a composer, mainly composing music for orchestra and voice and sardanes influenced by Enric Morera and the French Impressionism.
