Composer, Flautist and Violinist

He studied solfege and harmony with Andreví, violin with Francisco Berini and flute with Ignacio Cascante. He devoted himself professionally to the performance of both instruments: on the one hand, he was concert violinist and member of various string quartets, on the other hand, he was flutist of the music chapel of Barcelona’s cathedral and first flute of Teatre de la Santa Creu’s orchestra. In addition, he composed learning exercises for the flute. His compositional output includes religious, orchestral and chamber music (particularly for flute).
