Biography
Musician, teacher and composer
He studied under the tutelage of Isidre Lleys in his hometown, he later studied tible and clarinet as part of orchestras and cobles, while conducting choirs such as the Erato choral society of Figueres. Alongside his military training, he studied harmony, counterpoint, fugue, instrumentation and orchestration with Varela Silvari and Joaquim Zamarra. This allowed him to achieve prominent musical positions in the Spanish army. He composed about fifty sardanes and other works such as the symphonic suite Cançons de ma terra.
